Breaking the Chains needed a refreshed identity that captured both the strength of their mission and the compassion at the heart of their work. My role included designing a modernized logo, refining their visual system, and creating brand assets that could adapt across digital and print platforms. The result is a cohesive identity that communicates hope, resilience, and trust while amplifying the organization’s powerful voice in the community.

The original logo used a broken chain and bold lettering that felt dated and limiting. The refreshed identity introduces a modern mark and wordmark that convey strength and empowerment, creating a versatile system for digital and print use.
Deep purples and vibrant accents convey strength, resilience, and hope—transforming the brand into a bold public presence that invites community involvement and sparks meaningful conversation.
